Product Description

Capitol BBQ - Your Local BBQ Shop is pleased to offer the Backwoods Competitor Smoker.  This cooker is built for cooking contests and melds the need for larger capacities while needing portability for those looking to do catering or compete in the KCBS circuit, or a Memphis In May contest.

The standard Competitor model features a permanent water pan, stainless steel doors, 2" of insulation, a commercial fire grate and 8 racks meauring 19 1/2" square spaced 3" apart. The cooking area can accommodate up to 6 12-pound turkeys, 28 slabs of baby back ribs, 21 slabs of St. Louis style ribs, 8 full briskets or 16 Boston butts.

Exterior dimensions: 27" deep, 33" wide (including the drain) and 51" tall (when measured to the top of the smoke stack). Interior dimensions: 20" deep, 20"wide and 29" tall. The following options can be added to the Competitor model: convection, auto water and auto gas.  The standard Backwoods Competitor comes with stainless doors and latches, the new low profile smoke stack, non removable water pan and splatter guard.  The Competitor weighs 350 LBS.

Shipping / Local Pick-Up

Please allow 6 - 8 weeks for delivery. Once your order is received, we will contact you with an estimated delivery date. Actual shipping costs for the Competitor Smoker will vary depending upon your location, but typically average between $375 and $475. When ordering online, you will be charged a $300 deposit on shipping. The balance due on shipping will be charged to your credit card when your smoker is shipped.
