Backwoods Smoker

Since 1987, teams using custom made Backwoods Smokers have won all the major competitions, Memphis in May, the American Royal, and the Jack Daniels Invitational. Backwoods Smoker is based in Dixie, Louisiana and was founded by Mike McGowan. Mike has a passion for making world-class BBQ meals and for making professional grade equipment that is often used by professional BBQ cooks in both competitions, catering, and at home.

The Good One

The Good-One ™ Smoker/Grill was founded in 1988. This endeavor evolved from the dreams and creative thinking of passionate, persistent, and prepared father and son entrepreneurs in Burns, Kansas. Both Ron and Larry Goodwin have been involved in developing, manufacturing, distributing, marketing, selling, and servicing products for the outdoor cookers for over 20 years now.

KCBS

Kansas City Barbeque Society, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and enjoying barbeque, is the world's largest organization of barbeque and grilling enthusiasts with over 8,000 members worldwide. KCBS sanctions almost 300 barbeque contests coast-to-coast throughout America. From volunteering to actual event production, our members also offer assistance to civic and charitable organizations who organize events.

NBBQ

The Mission of the National Barbecue Association is to provide the barbecue related industry and enthusiasts with a visionary, beneficial, and responsive association. NBBQA'S goals are to promote the recognition and image of the industry, facilitate the effective networking of industry resources and to foster new business opportunities.
